Implementation of Photonovel Media to Promote Student Literacy Science

Science and technology in the 21st century is developing very fast. This requires qualified, reliable, globally competitive human resources. One of skills needed literacy science. study aims to promote science by using Photonovel as a medium. type research an experiment with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design model. The sample was 21 students class VIII SMP Kasatrian 1 Surakarta. Data collection methods used are tests, questionnaires, documentation, observation. analysis done descriptively inferentially. results showed increase students' scientific high category, average gain test included medium criteria, which 0.8. Based on explanation above, use media can improve Literacy
